Night Shift Team Member – Salford Extra

About the role

Join Tesco as a Night Shift Team Member at the Salford Extra store. Work evenings and nights, providing excellent customer service and supporting store operations. Flexible hours with guaranteed minimum weekly hours.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers with passion and pride, delivering natural service.
• Work across store areas including service, picking, and replenishment.
• Follow safety training and store policies.
• Make decisions to meet customer needs and maintain store standards.
• Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events.
• Handle product deliveries and ensure product quality.
• Contribute to store performance, sales, waste reduction, and profit.

Required profile

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Available for night shifts within the advertised availability windows (e.g., Sun 22:00‑07:00, Tue 22:00‑04:00, Wed 22:00‑07:00, Thu 22:00‑07:00).
• Willing to work a minimum of 12‑16 guaranteed hours per week.
• Passion for delivering great service and greeting customers with a smile.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying shift patterns.

Required skills

What we offer

• Starting hourly rate of £13.28 (up to £14.55 in M25 locations).
• Additional night premium of £2.35 per hour for shifts between midnight and 6 am.
• Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week (or 12 hours for part‑time flexibility).
• Three weeks’ notice of scheduled shifts.
