Night Shift Billing Specialist – Hyderabad

About the role

The Billing Specialist will handle residential and commercial invoicing for electric and gas utilities, ensuring timely and accurate billing in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This position operates on a US night shift from the HCL Kokapet office in Hyderabad.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily billing transactions and resolve failed market transactions.
• Validate invoice accuracy for standard and complex products.
• Investigate and correct customer billing queries and exceptions.
• Create, review, edit, and validate billing documents.
• Submit invoices according to customer specifications and service level agreements.
• Escalate unresolved issues to leads or supervisors.
• Calculate adjustments and issue corrected invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce or related field (BBA Finance, BCOM, M.COM, MBA Finance).
• 1–2 years of experience in customer‑facing problem solving or issue resolution.
• Experience with SAP Billing is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work night shift aligned with US time zones.
