About the role
The Network Security Engineer will focus on securing Operational Technology (OT) environments across manufacturing sites. You will collaborate with engineering, technology, and OT teams to analyse current architectures and implement robust security controls.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse existing OT architecture, strategy, and processes in partnership with manufacturing sites.
- Design and implement OT firewall VLANs aligned with internal segmentation principles.
- Develop reference architectures for standard OT services and applications.
- Define, review, and approve OT firewall rules to integrate with IT and MES systems while protecting automation assets.
- Respond promptly to changes and incidents to minimise cyber‑security risk.
- Support sites in recovery from cyber‑security incidents and investigations.
- Ensure automation and lab systems are protected using defence‑in‑depth controls.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 + years of experience in IT/OT network or cybersecurity roles.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
- Effective communication skills to interact with operational teams, project managers, and senior leadership.
