About the role

The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kurnool (IIITDM Kurnool) invites applications for permanent faculty positions across several departments. Openings include Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor ranks in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering and Physics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervise student projects.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in reputable journals and conferences.
• Develop curricula, design laboratory experiments and update teaching materials.
• Mentor graduate students, guide PhD theses and support their professional development.
• Seek research funding, manage grants and collaborate with industry and academic partners.
• Participate in departmental committees, accreditation activities and institute‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a strong research record.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level (preferred).
• Eligibility for the respective academic rank as per Indian university regulations.
• Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary research and collaborative projects.
