Multi Carrier Landside Senior Specialist

About the role

The Multi Carrier Landside Senior Specialist ensures a continuous and efficient flow of freight by managing driver operations, coordinating container pickups and returns, and maintaining communication with terminals and clients. The role focuses on minimizing delays and optimizing transportation efficiency for loaded and empty containers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate freight movements, assigning loads and empties to drivers.
• Oversee timely pickup and delivery of loaded and empty containers at ports and warehouses.
• Schedule appointments, secure chassis reservations, and manage driver assignments from the previous day.
• Maintain direct communication with drivers, terminals, and clients to resolve operational issues.
• Request road service and chassis maintenance as needed.
• Escalate driver‑reported issues and provide assistance.
• Utilize optimization tools and update the customer’s TMS, container recaps, and daily reports.
• Report container damages and ensure accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate with 4‑5 years of experience in operations, financial analysis, shipping or logistics.
• Willingness to work full night shifts.
• Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities for root‑cause analysis.
• Proactive, result‑oriented mindset with a drive for innovation and change management.
