Mulesoft Architect

About the role

We are looking for a MuleSoft Architect to lead the design and delivery of integration solutions for METRO.digital, the technology arm of one of the world’s leading food wholesalers. The role combines deep MuleSoft expertise with strong Java and backend development skills to build cloud‑native, API‑led services that support e‑commerce, checkout and delivery platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain MuleSoft flows and APIs using Anypoint Studio.
• Build and support Java‑based micro‑services with Spring Boot.
• Lead the modernization of the integration architecture and contribute to micro‑service design.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers and DevOps to define integration strategies and ensure performance, scalability and security.
• Promote API design best practices, testing and CI/CD automation.
• Work with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform for cloud‑native deployments.
• Mentor and train team members on MuleSoft best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on integration and backend development.
• Certified Salesforce MuleSoft Architect.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
