MS EMT2-VM Eclipse Plugin Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Eclipse Plugin Specialist to design, develop and enhance Eclipse‑based tooling solutions for our automotive software platforms. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, maintainable plugins.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and design new features for Eclipse plugins.
• Implement and test new functionality with a focus on code quality and tool stability.
• Redesign existing code to improve performance, maintainability and scalability.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests as part of the development cycle.
• Guide and mentor team members on best coding practices and review processes.
• Support the growth of junior associates by building their core and advanced competencies.
• Manage delivery and configuration activities for plugin releases.
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies – planning, review and retrospective.
• Mentor the team on effective use of the development environment features.
• Collaborate with other development groups to resolve cross‑team technical issues.

Required profile

• B.E. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.
• Ability to dive deep into technical details while maintaining a sense of ownership.
• Excellent analytical, design and communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
