Modeling and Simulation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Bangalore. You will play a key part in advancing digital transformation for aircraft programs, using Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to create robust, high‑fidelity models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop behavioural and physical models for various aircraft systems.
• Perform verification and validation (V&V) of models on MIL, SIL and HIL simulation platforms.
• Integrate models with other system models to represent comprehensive aircraft behaviour.
• Update and evolve models based on change requests and system updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple aircraft programs during V&V campaigns.
• Support global Airbus initiatives in system simulation.
• Automate analysis and V&V processes for system models.
• Initiate optimisation studies and propose innovative solutions.
• Create collaboration topics to improve processes, methods and tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑8 years of experience in Systems Engineering, MBSE or Model‑Based Design.
• Knowledge of DO‑178C, DO‑331 and DO‑160 regulations.
• Experience with avionics embedded‑software verification and test‑case development (DAL A‑C).
• Familiarity with aerospace communication protocols such as AFDX, CAN and ARINC.
• Understanding of the full V‑cycle from requirements to validation and traceability.
• Strong English communication skills; French is a plus.
