Mobile Software Engineer (React Native, AI‑Accelerated)

About the role

Mobile development is evolving rapidly with AI‑assisted workflows. As a Mobile Engineer you will build and scale Jetpac’s Android and iOS applications using React Native, owning features from product conception through testing, release and iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship Android and iOS features using React Native.
• Own features end‑to‑end: shape the solution, develop, test, release and iterate.
• Leverage AI‑assisted and agent‑based development workflows for coding, debugging, testing and code review.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design to create simple, polished mobile experiences.
• Write and maintain automated tests and use AI‑assisted testing to improve quality.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability and UX issues.
• Improve existing features based on product data, user feedback and production insights.
• Work with backend engineers to build reliable end‑to‑end experiences.

Required skills

• 2–3 years of professional mobile software development experience.
• Strong experience building production applications with React Native.
• Experience shipping and maintaining both Android and iOS applications.
• Proficiency with mobile APIs, state management, navigation and native device capabilities.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance, debugging and automated testing.
• Experience working with REST APIs and backend services.
• Comfortable with Git, CI/CD and modern development workflows.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted or agent‑based development workflows.
• Ability to review, debug, test and improve AI‑generated code.
• Familiarity with UX principles and mobile interaction patterns.
