Mobile Software Development Engineer – OnRoad Transporter Experience

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Mobile Software Development Engineer to build and enhance the core delivery experience in the Android driver app. You will work on the OTX Transporter system that powers the last‑mile delivery process, delivering packages to customers in two hours or less.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile features end‑to‑end for the driver delivery app.
• Own the full software lifecycle, from architecture and design patterns to launch and post‑release monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to influence technical direction and integrate diverse technologies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience with reliable, scalable systems.
• 3+ years of Apple platform development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Required skills

• Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• iOS development using Swift or Objective‑C.
• Experience with design patterns, source‑control (Git), build processes, testing, and operations.
