Mobile Software Developer – Hybrid (Kolkata)

About the role

The Software Developer (Mobile Development) will join a hybrid team in Kolkata, working three days a week on‑site. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining high‑quality mobile applications while collaborating with cross‑functional engineers to ensure product performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, scalable code from functional specifications for Android (Java), iOS, and cross‑platform frameworks.
• Identify refactoring opportunities and architectural improvements to boost performance.
• Create and execute automated unit tests, ensuring code meets technical specifications before review.
• Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to software development standards and processes.
• Support the delivery pipeline with test automation, security, and performance enhancements.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex production issues and recommend data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in mobile development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and automated testing.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality software within release timelines.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving skills.
