Mobile Application Developer

About the role

Furniconcepts is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to join its hybrid team in Chennai. You will create and maintain mobile apps that serve the company’s customers, partners, and internal users, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new mobile features and applications.
• Optimize app performance, fix bugs, and ensure high reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Integrate mobile apps with existing backend services and APIs.
• Apply security best practices and stay updated with emerging mobile technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and manage time effectively.
• Prior experience in product‑focused or design‑oriented companies is a plus.

Required skills

• Mobile application development lifecycle expertise.
• iOS development, including building, testing, and App Store deployment.
• Proficiency with at least one modern mobile framework or toolkit such as Swift, SwiftUI, React Native, Flutter, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend integration.
• Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices, performance optimization, and secure coding standards.
