Mobile Application Developer (Flutter) – Remote

About the role

xFarm Technologies is seeking a Mobile Application Developer with strong Flutter expertise to build and maintain high‑performance cross‑platform apps for iOS and Android. You will contribute to a fast‑growing AgriTech platform that digitises farming operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Flutter applications using Dart.
• Implement state‑management solutions with MobX and Riverpod.
• Integrate apps with RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Write native modules in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin/Java (Android) when platform‑specific features are required.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Develop and run automated mobile tests using Maestro and Mockito.
• Profile performance and optimise applications across diverse devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, backend engineers, and QA in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Solid understanding of MobX and Riverpod state‑management patterns.
• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• Experience with Git version control and platforms such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and automated testing frameworks (Maestro, Mockito).
