MEP Manager – HVAC (Site)

About the role

The MEP Manager – HVAC will lead the installation, testing and commissioning of heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems on industrial project sites. Reporting to senior project leadership, the role ensures that all HVAC works are executed in line with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret HVAC drawings and specifications, coordinating with design and execution teams to avoid conflicts.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring the availability of materials, tools and manpower for uninterrupted site activities.
• Monitor daily progress, enforce quality compliance during equipment installation and duct fabrication.
• Support testing and commissioning, including air balancing, water balancing and functional performance testing.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as installation checklists, test reports and material consumption records.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC specialization.
• 10–22 years of experience in site execution of HVAC systems for industrial projects.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of regional language is a plus.

Required skills

• HVAC equipment installation, ducting and piping layout.
• Air and water balancing, chiller and AHU commissioning.
• Insulation techniques and understanding of HVAC codes (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC).
• AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency.
• Testing and commissioning procedures, quality control and safety compliance.
