Medical Receptionist – Front Desk & Patient Experience

About the role

We are seeking a warm, polished and efficient front‑desk professional to be the first point of contact for patients at our dental centre in South Delhi. As the face of the practice, you will ensure every visitor feels welcomed, comfortable and well cared for from the moment they walk in.

Key responsibilities

• Manage appointments, patient records, billing and daily front‑desk operations.
• Use Practo (or similar healthcare management software) to schedule and track patient visits.
• Maintain accurate data in Microsoft Excel and Word and handle communications via WhatsApp Business.
• Assist with basic social‑media tasks on Instagram, including posting stories and patient communications.

Required profile

• Understands that the front desk sets the tone for the entire patient experience.
• Friendly yet professional, able to multitask calmly and courteously.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and takes ownership without waiting for instructions.
• Respects confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare setting.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Practo or comparable healthcare management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience using WhatsApp Business for patient communication.
• Basic familiarity with Instagram for simple content posting.
