Medical Officer – Telemedicine (Hybrid, Mumbai)

About the role

The Medical Officer – Telemedicine will deliver remote clinical consultations, triage cases and provide evidence‑based medical advice to patients and partner organisations through telemedicine platforms. This full‑time hybrid position is based in Mumbai, combining on‑site duties at Sea Bird facilities with work‑from‑home flexibility as operational needs allow.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct remote patient assessments, review histories and diagnostic information.
• Provide clinical triage, referrals and follow‑up advice via telemedicine tools.
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity.
• Contribute to health‑awareness programmes and support medical training activities such as first aid, BLS and ACLS.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records in line with clinical and organisational protocols.

Required profile

• MBBS, DNB or MD with a valid medical registration/license.
• Experience in patient care, preferably in telemedicine, surgery or emergency settings.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and rotate shifts for 24 × 7 support if needed.
• Strong communication skills and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Comfort with digital health platforms and remote communication tools.
