Medical Officer

About the role

The Medical Officer will join arjobsconsultant’s on‑site health team in Dibrugarh East, delivering comprehensive clinical care to patients. This full‑time position involves diagnosing, treating, and monitoring a range of medical conditions while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage common medical conditions in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records for all patients.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise or participate in minor procedures and ensure strict infection‑control practices.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention and health management.
• Support preventive health initiatives and community outreach programs.
• Assist in training and mentoring healthcare staff to promote high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Valid medical registration as required by local regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate patient care and follow‑up.
• Experience in training or supporting clinical education initiatives.
• Exposure to minor surgical procedures and adherence to safety standards.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Dibrugarh East and respond to urgent situations.
