Medical Coding Trainer (Multi‑Speciality) – Chennai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Coding Trainer to lead multi‑speciality training programs for our coding specialists in Chennai. The role involves delivering process training, supporting coders during transitions, and continuously improving coding quality.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct process and focused quality‑improvement trainings for coding specialists.
• Provide floor support during ramp‑up periods to maintain quality standards.
• Publish monthly healthcare articles and updates to enhance coder knowledge.
• Ensure timely completion of onboarding and compliance trainings for new hires.
• Participate in client calls, meetings, and knowledge‑transfer sessions as required.
• Lead sessions on current updates in US healthcare coding systems.
• Develop presentations, handbooks, and other training materials.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a trainer.
• In‑depth knowledge of coding processes, coding system software, and workflow management.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
• Holding a coding certification such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
