Mechanical Technician – Assembly & Testing

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our Jaipur workshop, supporting the assembly, installation, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic components for mining and construction equipment. The role is on a third‑party payroll and offers the chance to work on prototype builds in a global technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble frames, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, brackets and other mechanical/hydraulic components according to engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Maintain and calibrate workshop tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper order.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics and Bill of Materials.
• Perform pressure and flow tests, diagnose leaks or failures, and ensure functional compliance.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environment policies, promoting safe work practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in mining or construction equipment.
• Good mechanical assembly skills, including fabrication, alignment, tolerances, welding or bolting, and basic machining.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools and collaborate with proto technicians, design and quality engineers.
