Mechanical System Integration Engineer

About the role

Airbus India is seeking a Mechanical System Integration Engineer to join its Landing Gear Systems team in Bangalore. You will act as the primary integrator for multi‑system component (MSC) specifications, ensuring seamless coordination across functional groups and delivering key program milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate MSC‑level specifications and define verification criteria.
• Coordinate verification activities with multi‑functional teams and support subsystem integration.
• Prepare engineering documentation for milestones such as First Flight Acceptance, Certification Reviews, and FAL acceptance.
• Assist signatories in reviewing documentation and manage the release process.
• Maintain continuous stakeholder communication to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.
• Identify and mitigate technical and schedule risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in system development, integration, or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex deliverables.

Required skills

• Hydraulic, mechanical and electro‑mechanical component design.
• System modelling and architecture development.
• Requirement development, decomposition and validation.
• Design for manufacturing, assembly and testing.
• System safety assessment (FHA, FMEA, FTA).
• Configuration management and development assurance.
