Mechanical Site Execution Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Site Execution Engineer is responsible for delivering mechanical works on‑site, ensuring that equipment, piping, HVAC, fire‑fighting and utility systems are installed safely, on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute site‑level mechanical works including equipment erection, pipeline and ducting installation, and fire‑fighting system deployment.
• Supervise subcontractors and site teams, monitoring progress against the project schedule.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, isometrics, P&IDs and layout plans.
• Conduct stage‑wise inspections, testing and verification in line with QA/QC guidelines.
• Ensure availability of materials, tools, manpower and equipment for uninterrupted execution.
• Maintain daily progress reports, inspection logs and material tracking documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely deliveries and with design teams for technical clarifications.
• Monitor contractor performance, flag deviations and enforce safety regulations.
• Support commissioning activities and assist in resolving punch‑list items during hand‑over.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical or related discipline.
• Proven experience in on‑site mechanical execution within construction or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Effective coordination and supervision skills.
