Mechanical Engineer – PHE & HVAC (Project Supervision/Construction Management)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the supervision, installation, and construction management of Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (PHE & HVAC) systems across multiple large‑scale infrastructure projects in India. The role ensures that all mechanical works meet design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee on‑site installation, testing, and commissioning of PHE and HVAC systems.
• Ensure all mechanical works follow approved designs, specifications, and schedules.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors, enforcing safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications, coordinating integration with electrical and civil disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance on equipment selection, material specifications, and energy‑efficient design practices.
• Conduct regular inspections, resolve technical issues, and manage the commissioning phase to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and electrical engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Certification in HVAC or PHE systems (e.g., LEED AP, Certified Energy Manager).
• Experience managing mechanical systems in operational environments such as airports or malls.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing on‑site teams and contractors.
