About the role
Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its global R&D team. You will work on designing, simulating and prototyping mechanical systems and equipment for innovative projects across various industries.
Key responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems, devices, equipment and machines according to client requirements.
- Install, commission and maintain mechanically functioning equipment.
- Perform simulations to evaluate performance in real‑world scenarios.
- Develop prototypes, assess manufacturability and conduct testing and validation.
- Interpret client needs and provide technical guidance with minimal supervision.
Required profile
- Graduated in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to work independently and solve straightforward engineering problems.
- Strong teamwork orientation and customer interaction skills.
Required skills
- Mechanical system design.
- Installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Simulation of mechanical interactions.
- Prototype development, testing and validation.
