Mechanical Design Engineer – UG NX

About the role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will create robust 3D models and detailed drawings using UG NX to meet automotive engineering requirements. You will work onsite at the customer’s facility, translating their needs into high‑quality design solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in UG NX.
• Ensure designs satisfy functional, manufacturability and quality standards.
• Apply knowledge of casting, plastic and sheet‑metal design where relevant.
• Review and validate design feasibility and performance.
• Collaborate with customer teams, delivery groups and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Support design improvements and manage engineering change requests.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or automotive engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Required skills

• UG NX (mandatory).
• PDM tools.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledge of casting, plastic and sheet‑metal design (advantage).
• Familiarity with mechanical standards and configuration files.
