Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop electro‑mechanical assemblies for railway and power‑system products. You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, ensure manufacturability, and support the transition from design to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design complete electro‑mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks or Creo.
• Produce 2D drawings, BOMs and assembly documentation.
• Optimize sheet‑metal parts, enclosures, busbars and barriers within switchgear systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, mechanical analysis and design reviews with cross‑functional teams.
• Maintain product data in ERP and manage design changes throughout the development cycle.
• Collaborate with local and international teams to meet project deadlines.
• Provide technical support to customers and interpret their specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in power‑systems or general mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and industry standards (IEC, UL).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
