Materials Storekeeper – SAP MM

About the role

The Materials Storekeeper is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of material receipt, storage and issue, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely availability of supplies for production and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and issue materials according to company procedures.
• Prepare and process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) using SAP MM.
• Maintain accurate stock records and conduct physical stock verification and cycle counts.
• Monitor stock levels, generate stock reports and ensure timely material availability.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production and Logistics teams for material planning.
• Label, identify and store materials properly; manage inward and outward material movements.
• Ensure store housekeeping, safety compliance and proper documentation.
• Liaise with vendors, transporters and scrap vendors to schedule deliveries and scrap disposal.

Required profile

• Experience in material handling, inventory control or store management.
• Familiarity with SAP MM for processing GRNs and updating inventory.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance standards.
