Materials Storekeeper – Oracle & Logistics

About the role
The Materials Storekeeper is responsible for managing the flow of raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse, ensuring that inventory levels are optimal and that supplies reach production without delay. This role focuses on safeguarding assets, reducing storage costs, and maximizing the efficiency of space and manpower.
Key responsibilities
- Prevent over‑stocking and under‑stocking by monitoring inventory levels.
- Protect materials from theft, pilferage, fire and other risks.
- Minimize storage costs through effective space utilization.
- Plan and coordinate material receiving and issue to production departments.
- Maintain uninterrupted supply of materials to support production schedules.
- Oversee material handling operations and manpower planning.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory management principles.
- Ability to work with production and service teams to align supply needs.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and loss prevention.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of Oracle (ERP) for inventory tracking.
