Materials Project Management – Strategic Sourcing

About the role

The Materials Project Management – Strategic Sourcing role supports the creation and service of equipment essential for AI and next‑generation semiconductor manufacturing. You will work in Bangalore, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive sourcing strategies for new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and manage RFQs, lead‑time and cost‑estimation requests from internal stakeholders.
• Utilize supplier matrices to quote, negotiate and award business, ensuring dual‑sourcing for supply continuity.
• Develop lead‑time mitigation strategies and support NPI/pilot projects with sourcing plans.
• Qualify supplier parts, perform cost roll‑ups, and resolve discrepancies between cost targets and quoted prices.
• Present cost analyses and recommendations to program executives and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Prior experience in sourcing, negotiation, dual‑sourcing and supplier management.
• Ability to read multi‑level BOMs, drawings and special process specifications.
• Self‑starter capable of operating independently with strong presentation skills.

• Advanced MS Excel.
• SAP MM module.
• Cost modeling and markup analysis.
• 3D modeling and PLM software.
