Material Planning – Aviation/MRO (Bengaluru)

About the role

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our aviation/MRO team in Bengaluru as Material Planning specialists. The role focuses on ensuring the right aircraft parts and consumables are available for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, supporting operational readiness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast material demand, plan inventory levels, and control stock.
• Guarantee timely availability of aircraft materials for maintenance activities.
• Coordinate spares, BFE, IFE, rotables, and tooling across the supply chain.
• Manage reorder points, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), service levels, and other inventory parameters.
• Support AOG (Aircraft on Ground) material requirements and urgent procurement.
• Engage with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues.
• Optimize inventory by identifying surplus and slow‑moving items.
• Assist with alternate parts, class change requests, and related documentation.

Required profile

• Full‑time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in airlines, MROs, aviation material planning, aircraft parts procurement, or aviation inventory management.
• Experience ranging from 1 to 8 years, depending on the specific position (Associate, Senior Associate, Assistant Manager).
