Master Carpenter

About the role

RVM Timber is seeking an experienced Master Carpenter to join its on‑site team in Andipatti. This full‑time position focuses on planning, measuring, and constructing high‑quality wooden structures while upholding the company’s sustainability values.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily carpentry activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, plans, and measurements to guide construction.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood using both hand and power tools with precision.
• Perform framing, installation, and finish carpentry tasks for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and coordinate with other trades to meet project timelines.
• Train and mentor junior carpenters, fostering a culture of craftsmanship.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience in master‑level carpentry and structural woodwork.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor carpentry teams.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and commitment to quality.
• Relevant vocational training or certification in carpentry.
