Marketing Executive / Assistant Business Manager (Hyderabad)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive or Assistant Business Manager to lead our product outreach across Hyderabad. The role focuses on promoting high‑technology laboratory solutions to research institutes, biotech firms, pharma companies, diagnostic centres and hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Cover the assigned territory, visiting research institutes, industries, pharma, diagnostic centres and hospitals.
• Promote a portfolio that includes PCR systems, gel electrophoresis units, gel‑doc imaging systems, centrifuges, laboratory chemicals and plasticware.
• Conduct daily field visits to meet customers and distributors, achieving sales targets.
• Identify business potential through personal visits, tender bulletins and GEM enquiries.
• Expand and manage the distributor network and customer segments.
• Ensure product‑wise target achievement and report progress.

Required profile

• Degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology or a related bioscience stream; Masters with MBA preferred.
• 2‑5 years of experience in research institutes or the biotechnology sector.
• Strong marketing and technical knowledge of laboratory products.
• Proven ability to manage distributor networks, retain existing customers and acquire new business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of PCR, gel electrophoresis, gel‑doc systems and centrifuges.
• Familiarity with laboratory chemicals and plasticware.
• CRM handling experience.
• Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint usage.
