Manufacturing Technician (CNC Turn Mill)

About the role

Husky Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate CNC Turn Mill machines and produce high‑precision stack components. The role focuses on meeting safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, load tools and fixtures, and operate CNC Turn Mill machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Perform first‑off and in‑process inspections and monitor machining performance.
• Troubleshoot tooling and machining issues and record production and downtime data.
• Maintain 5S, Lean and EHS compliance on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in CNC Turn Mill operation, preferably in tool‑making or precision component manufacturing.

Required skills

• CNC Turning / Turn Mill operation.
• Knowledge of GD&T and 5S standards.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical gauges.
• Basic problem‑solving skills in CNC environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Fluent English communication (verbal and written).
