Manufacturing Engineer – Lean & Process Improvement

About the role

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Bosch Rexroth India, you will drive productivity and quality across our Sanand plant by applying Lean tools and robust process controls. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Use Lean methodologies to reduce rework, rejection rates and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
• Conduct Time and Motion studies and cycle‑time analysis to identify bottlenecks.
• Implement PFMEA, Control Plans and risk‑mitigation actions.
• Optimize layout, material flow, machine utilization and ergonomics.
• Ensure first‑time‑right execution based on approved drawings and BOM.
• Maintain compliance with ISO standards and support QHSE audits.
• Prepare daily/weekly production plans aligned with project timelines.
• Participate in BPS activities and drive RPP projects.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
• 3‑6 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Lean tools and continuous improvement projects.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plans, ISO/QHSE requirements.
