Manufacturing Engineer III

About the role

Jabil is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to lead its Process Engineering department. The role focuses on driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across assigned production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, providing guidance on machine performance, programming, and optimization.
• Train technicians and assistants on equipment maintenance, repair, and part‑data (PD) file creation.
• Collaborate with line supervisors, machine support managers, and engineers to identify corrective actions that improve yields and machine efficiency.
• Develop, document, and implement procedures that sustain operational excellence.
• Provide expertise for machine adjustments, repairs, and demand‑maintenance activities.
• Assist in defining optimal process parameters such as reflow and wave solder profiles, solder paste screen printing, tooling design, and design‑for‑manufacturing recommendations.
• Ensure regular data integrity tasks, including program and PD backups.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Effective communication skills for presenting information to managers, clients, and cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency with Windows‑based PC environments and Jabil software tools.
