Manager, Strategic Market Access

About the role

Alcon is seeking a dynamic, detail‑oriented professional to join its Global HEOR team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on translating complex health‑economics research into compelling, scientifically rigorous communication tools that support market access strategies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and edit high‑quality HEOR deliverables such as global value dossiers, scientific abstracts, manuscripts, slide decks, infographics, and other communication tools.
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and visual appeal across all materials while aligning messaging with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and R&D teams.
• Serve as central coordinator for global HEOR projects, maintaining dashboards, trackers, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Facilitate team meetings, follow‑ups, and documentation to keep initiatives on schedule.
• Apply strong editing and publishing skills to refine content and contribute to recognizable HEOR work products.
• Perform basic budget impact modeling and cost calculations as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in Health Economics, Public Health, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in HEOR, medical writing, or scientific communications.
• Proven experience creating value communication materials for global audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions.
• Experience in MedTech, Pharma, or related healthcare sectors.
• Familiarity with budget impact modeling is a plus.
