Manager – QA Automation for Data & Analytics (Bangalore)

About the role

Pwc is looking for a Manager to lead QA automation for data‑intensive systems within its Data, Analytics & AI advisory practice in Bengaluru. You will ensure data quality, reliability and compliance across ETL pipelines and cloud‑based platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead test strategies for data‑intensive systems, aligning with quality and compliance goals.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data platforms.
• Guide a team of QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation, data validation and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with engineering, data and business teams in Agile environments to ensure end‑to‑end quality.
• Report QA metrics and provide risk‑based recommendations for release readiness.
• Stay current with testing trends, including AI‑powered automation tools.

Required profile

• Manager‑level experience leading QA or test automation teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and governance.
• Experience working in Agile delivery models.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Playwright (6+ years production experience); Cypress or Selenium a plus.
• ETL testing, data quality concepts and SQL.
• Familiarity with ETL tools.
• Test automation scripting in Python.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
