Manager – Power Distribution Consulting

About the role

PwC is seeking experienced professionals to join its General Consulting services team, focusing on power distribution utilities in India. The role involves partnering with utility leaders to drive project delivery, technology implementation, and operational improvements across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage large‑scale power distribution projects (₹250 Cr+ or ₹100 Cr+ for AMR/AMI initiatives).
• Oversee ICT system design and deployment for revenue‑management solutions, including metering, billing, collection and CRM platforms.
• Coordinate contract management, reporting and stakeholder communication for utility clients.
• Supervise integration and implementation of MDMS, SCADA, CIS, ERP and other OT/IT applications.
• Provide strategic guidance on loss reduction, technology adoption and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree from a recognized university; postgraduate qualifications in management or engineering are a plus.
• 12‑14 years of consulting experience in power distribution utilities (or 8‑10 years for specialist roles).
• Proven track record of delivering multiple high‑value projects in the power sector.
• Experience working on utility locations in Lucknow, Meerut or Jaipur.
