Manager - Manpower Inflight Planning & Recruitment

About the role

The Manager – Manpower Inflight Planning & Recruitment will lead the design and execution of the airline’s organisational structure, career progression framework, and recruitment strategy for cabin crew and related functions. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures the workforce is aligned with growth plans and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Update and improve the organisation chart, defining role structures and growth pathways.
• Design a career progression roadmap that outlines competencies, titles, and development milestones.
• Identify departmental manpower needs, especially for cabin crew, in collaboration with vertical heads and the Vice President IFS & Training.
• Conduct cabin‑crew interviews, including grooming assessments, and manage assessment centres.
• Partner with HR to develop selection, recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention strategies.
• Lead staff engagement sessions to communicate expectations, growth stories, and development opportunities.
• Schedule and oversee annual career development activities.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the aviation industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role covering operations, training, or recruitment.
• Proven experience in organisational development and facilitation.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with competency‑based interviewing techniques.
