Manager - LEC Controllers

About the role

The Manager – LEC Controllers leads the Legal Entity Controller function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and effective risk management across the organization. This senior position works closely with country finance teams, the CFO and risk committees to safeguard the integrity of the balance sheet and financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Legal Entity Controller model and identify balance‑sheet risks for senior leadership.
• Review the General Ledger for integrity, accuracy and completeness; resolve variances before month‑end close.
• Perform high‑quality IFRS financial statement reviews and disclosures for external publication.
• Collaborate with Country Finance and GCFO India teams to manage financial controls and periodic reconciliations.
• Escalate exceptions, support day‑to‑day control activities and monitor risk mitigation actions.
• Embed the controllership and reporting model, keeping the end client at the centre of the process.
• Present financial and operational risk to senior management through risk forums (FORTM, ERC, CORC, SRM).
• Drive improvements in NPS scores, people engagement and internal audit grades.
• Support implementation of BSS Tool in ASPIRE and lead process‑mapping initiatives using Aris.
• Oversee SOX implementation, test new‑product financial controls and sustain the controllership framework.
• Lead, coach and develop the team, set objectives, and ensure succession planning for critical roles.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership by example, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ability to provide ongoing training and ensure critical functions are staffed with qualified personnel.
• Experience setting and monitoring job descriptions, objectives and performance feedback for direct reports.
• Strong business awareness of the wider economic and market environment in which the legal entity operates.
