About the role

Freshly is expanding its Freshly Café offering and is looking for a Manager to lead a cluster of dark‑store locations in India. The Manager acts as the CEO of the cluster, responsible for end‑to‑end operations, team performance and delivering the promised 10‑15 minute delivery experience.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve daily SLAs for SKU availability, order‑to‑handover time, on‑time delivery and minimise operational cancellations.
• Oversee the daily operating rhythm: stock readiness, in‑day replenishment, peak‑hour staffing and end‑of‑day reviews.
• Manage first‑mile receiving, quality checks, FEFO rotation, waste control and maintain high inventory accuracy.
• Hire, train and retain store and frontline teams, drive attendance, incentives and keep attrition low.
• Ensure stores meet FSSAI, labour and safety compliance and are audit‑ready.
• Supervise rider availability, shift adherence and doorstep handling standards.
• Analyse SLA misses, implement root‑cause solutions and scale process improvements across the cluster.
• Launch new dark stores using the launch playbook and bring them to steady‑state performance quickly.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience managing frontline operations in quick commerce, e‑grocery, food delivery, retail or logistics.
• Proven people‑leadership managing blue‑collar store teams or supervisors.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving mindset with a bias for being on the shop floor.
