Manager - FP&A and Operations Finance

About the role

The Finance team at Exponent Energy is looking for a hands-on finance professional to lead its FP&A and operational finance initiatives. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to manage end-to-end finance operations, from budgeting and forecasting to P&L ownership across manufacturing, services and network functions. It suits someone who enjoys a blend of strategic finance and day-to-day execution in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
• Track budget versus actuals and communicate key metrics
• Define processes and control the manufacturing P&L, service P&L and network P&L
• Perform full charge bookkeeping, including month-end and year-end closures
• Lead FP&NA across departments

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations finance, FP&NA, with ERP proficiency
• Experience in a manufacturing and operations finance setup
• Self-motivated and ethical, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills, as communication with cross-functional teams and leadership is key
• Able to work independently and with diverse personalities
