Manager, Digital Systems

About the role

Sandvik’s Intelligent Manufacturing division is looking for a Manager of Digital Systems to lead its India‑based digital team. The role oversees day‑to‑day leadership, coordination and development of resources that support digital enablement, experience and integration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary Digital Systems team, setting performance goals and career plans.
• Partner with product owners, architects and global leaders to align resources with strategic priorities and manage project delivery, sprint execution and capacity planning.
• Monitor delivery metrics, identify risks early and ensure defects, incidents and technical debt are prioritized and resolved.
• Facilitate communication between India teams and global leadership, establishing consistent development and support practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in software development, enterprise systems or digital platforms and 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, project delivery and production support.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and organizational skills.
