Manager - Design Review

About the role

The Design Review Manager leads a multidisciplinary technical hub delivering design review services across multiple market segments for Bureau Veritas. The role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, business development and technical innovation to secure market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Design Review team, driving budget achievement and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 17020 and ISO 17065 standards and implement continuous improvement programs.
• Oversee daily service delivery, coordinate pre‑order and post‑order activities, and manage client engagements to win strategic deals.
• Maintain and expand accreditations, prepare for audits and implement corrective actions.
• Lead innovation initiatives, identify new service opportunities and mentor technical staff.
• Recruit, onboard, train and retain a high‑performing team of engineers and administrators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, O&G or Metallurgy engineering (master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in technical services for oil & gas, power, process or construction sectors.
• Proven track record leading a design review team of 5+ engineers for at least 5 years.
• Strong understanding of international standards and codes (ASME, API, IEC, EN, IBR, IS).
• Excellent communication skills to interact with operators up to senior management.
