Manager - Costing / Material Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Manager – Costing / Material Controller to lead material cost control, profitability analysis and financial decision support for our product portfolio. The role will act as a finance business partner, working closely with supply chain, operations and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement costing systems and processes to support business growth.
• Perform monthly cost runs, maintain annual costing rates and prepare variance reports (Actual vs Budget vs Business Case).
• Analyse product‑wise profitability, identify improvement opportunities and support investment planning.
• Collaborate with SCM on inventory control, slow‑moving stock and Net Realizable Value analysis.
• Prepare business cases, feasibility studies and contribution margin analyses for new projects.
• Support the CFO, Managing Director and Business Unit Heads in strategic decision‑making.
• Drive profitability improvement initiatives and contribute to the annual budgeting process.

Required profile

• CMA qualification with 8‑10 years of experience in financial analysis, costing and business case preparation.
• Strong analytical mindset, high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for costing and financial reporting.
