Management Trainee – Mechanical Engineering (HVAC)

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a motivated Management Trainee to join its Hyderabad engineering team. The role is designed for recent mechanical engineering graduates who want to develop expertise in HVAC product qualification and contribute innovative ideas to differentiate our solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Understand basic air‑conditioning systems, vapor compression cycles, and their applications across residential, refrigeration, and commercial product lines.
• Design enclosures using sheet metal and plastics with CREO.
• Perform linear stress, vibration, and basic flow analyses using Ansys and MSC tools, interpreting results to guide design decisions.
• Participate in product teardowns, benchmarking workshops, and generate improvement ideas.
• Handle projects independently while ensuring compliance with HVAC qualification standards.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 7.5.
• Strong foundation in strength of materials, machine element design, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Hands‑on experience with CAD and CAE tools.
