Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician’s primary goal is to provide exceptional service to residents, working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to deliver skilled, efficient, and professional property upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Perform independent technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, air‑conditioning, appliances and related systems.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within three to five business days, including installing blinds, changing filters, replacing bulbs, drip pans, door stoppers, caulking and other miscellaneous repairs.
• Maintain common areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, pressure‑washing and cleaning windows.
• Monitor building exterior for issues such as roof, siding or shutters and support preventive maintenance programs.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory, keep work areas clean and orderly, and observe all safety rules.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and willingness to work on‑call hours.

Required skills

• Maintenance experience and knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance repair.
• Effective time‑management and strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication with residents and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
