Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Maintenance Officer will support the Engineering & Maintenance department of a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of critical production equipment, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining compliance with GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve faults on packaging machines (including CVC, CAM blister and BQS packaging lines).
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on granulation, compression, capsule and coating equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow GMP documentation practices.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in the pharma industry, preferably in an engineering or maintenance function.
• Diploma in Engineering or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
