Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Maintenance Officer will ensure the reliability and efficiency of all plant equipment by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs. Working closely with production teams, you will help minimise downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machines, tools, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control‑system issues.
• Develop, implement, and maintain maintenance schedules and documentation.
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment.
• Monitor equipment reliability, suggest efficiency improvements, and ensure safety compliance.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory and coordinate with external vendors for specialized services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in maintenance engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem‑solving and organisational skills.
