Maintenance Officer – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our manufacturing team in Nashik. The role involves ensuring the reliability and safety of all plant equipment through regular inspections, preventive maintenance and timely repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machines, tools and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures and records in line with industry standards.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.
• Monitor equipment reliability and recommend improvements for efficiency and longevity.
• Ensure safety standards are met during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise disruption and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialised services.
• Maintain technical documentation, schematics and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
