Maintenance Mechanic – Elevator & Escalator Service

About the role

Otis is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join its field service team in Raipur. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of a portfolio of elevators and escalators, ensuring passenger safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all scheduled maintenance and service visits for elevators and escalators within the assigned territory.
• Manage the portfolio of units in the defined geographical area, ensuring timely inspections.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, aiming for first‑time fixes and minimal downtime.
• Carry out minor repairs to keep equipment continuously operational.
• Interact directly with customers on‑site to build strong working relationships.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications for maintenance mechanics as required in India.
• Valid driver’s licence (if required locally).
• Experience in the elevator sector (minimum months as defined by local standards).
• Strong commitment to safety and professional conduct.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
